Pete Davidson and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson.
The couple announced the birth on Instagram on Thursday, confirming their daughter arrived on December 12.
Hewitt described the newborn as her “best work yet,” adding that she was “overflowing with love and gratitude”.
In an Instagram post, the star revealed that the baby’s name has a very deep-rooted significance.
Scottie honors Davidson’s late father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a New York City firefighter who was killed while responding to the September 11 attacks when the comedian was just seven years old. And the middle name, Rose, is Hewitt’s own middle name.
Photos shared with the announcement showed the couple looking very blissful to embrace parenthood together.
The baby’s face was covered with a white heart emoji, a choice made to protect her privacy.
