‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 finale: What to expect?
'Stranger Things' Season 5’ set to premiere on Netflix on December 31
Gear up for the epic ending of the famous Netflix series, Stranger Things.
Dubbed as "The Rightside Up", the last episode of Season 5 is a two-hour long movie event premiering on the streaming giant.
So, what to expect from the series finale? Executive producer and director Shawn Levy, in this regard, in an interview with PEOPLE, said, "You will get an even deeper understanding of Henry Creel and Vecna."
Calling episode eight, which has a runtime of over two hours, a "masterpiece," he also hinted that fans can expect "outcomes that are deeply satisfying, but many of which are completely surprising."
According to the 57-year-old director, the viewers will get outcomes satisfying and surprising.
Levi went on to say, "I just want to assure all of the people around the world who have walked the long road with us for nearly a decade.
"This finale is what you've been waiting for.
"It is both informationally satisfying, but most importantly, profoundly emotionally satisfying."
We noticed one specific pattern; the trailer shows Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Max (Sadie Sink) primarily; these three main characters, who Vecna directly has targeted in the series.
However, Max escapes Vecna’s wrath for now but the danger is still there.
One thing Gossip Herald is sure of... Vecna’s brutal death by Eleven and Will.
Overall, the stakes are higher than ever, as the makers have already hinted at a bittersweet ending, especially for Eleven.
We are already speculating about potential sacrifices but the fact that the makers are famous for their twists so it could be predicted that Eleven may get in grave danger and escape it as well with another major character dying in the series instead.
Stranger Things will premiere on Netflix on December 31, 2025, at 8 p.m. on Netflix.
