Chris Brown isn’t impressed with Big Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show.

“It's pretty clear… they need me,” Brown posted on his Instagram Stories, paired with a winking face emoji.

The message appeared just after Bad Bunny delivered an electrifying show during the notable halftime event, which paid homage to his homeland, Puerto Rico.

The artist, performing solely in Spanish, captivated the audience with hits like “Monaco,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” and “Tití Me Preguntó,” while stars such as Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Alix Earle, Jessica Alba, and Karol G danced alongside him.

The show paid tribute to Puerto Rican culture, including its cuisine, games, and dance.

Lady Gaga surprised everyone by singing her and Bruno Mars’ ballad, “Die With a Smile,” and famed Puerto Rican Ricky Martin performed “Lo Que Pasó a Hawaii.”

Fellow Puerto Rican star Ricky Martin wowed the audience with his rendition of “Lo Que Pasó a Hawaii.”

The Grammy-winning performer’s presence at the Super Bowl upset some NFL fans who were displeased with a Spanish-language singer.

He has also been outspoken against the Trump administration and the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Brown has not yet been a performer at a Super Bowl halftime event.

In 2009, the “Kiss Kiss” artist pleaded guilty to felony charges for assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.

He received five years of probation and six months of community service as a punishment.

The singer has faced legal issues multiple times since then. In 2017, Brown’s former girlfriend Karrueche Tran secured a five-year restraining order against him.

Brown allegedly reacted aggressively toward the “Claws” star, demanding the return of money and gifts he had given her throughout their relationship.

Last year, the “No Guidance” musician was detained in Manchester, England, on suspicion of hitting producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle at a London club in 2023.

In October 2023, Diaw initiated a lawsuit against Brown, accusing him of a previous assault eight months earlier.
