Kevin Hart roasts his own wax replica in hilarious Instagram post
Fans and celebrities weigh in as Hart hilariously slams the Hollywood Wax Museum’s latest creation
Kevin Hart is not impressed with his latest waxwork.
The comedian and actor took to Instagram on Thursday to call the new figure at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, an “attack.”
Dressed in a leather jacket and gold chain, Hart insisted the replica bears little resemblance to him and demanded the museum fix it.
“WTTTTFFFFF …. What did I do to these people…. This is an attack…. Who in the f*** is this?????? At this point these museums are just trying to make me cry [tearful and cry laughing emojis] ….. This s*** has to stop…. I demand a redo damn it!!!!!!!” Hart wrote.
Not everyone agreed. Longtime friend and co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson commented, “It’s PERFECT. Don’t change a thing.”
Fans, however, largely sided with Hart. Actress Jameela Jamil called it “the worst one I've ever seen of anyone,” while Jenni “JWOWW” Farley joked, “I feel like @therock had something to do with this [cry laughing emojis].” One fan quipped, “When you order your wax figure off Temu.”
Hart isn’t the first celebrity to publicly critique a wax replica. Johnson himself criticized his own figure at Musée Grévin in Paris for the skin tone, while Lil Wayne once posted on X about being unimpressed with his Hollywood Wax Museum figure.
The museum has responded, promising to make corrections promptly. A spokesperson told Deadline: “Dwayne Johnson is right and we noticed it and will obviously remedy it as quickly as possible and send him new photos once completed.”
