Zendaya reveals her ultimate wedding dance anthem amid marriage rumors

Zendaya spilled all the wedding secrets to fans, including which song makes her unstoppable on the dance floor, and sent fans into a frenzy as speculation grows that she may already be secretly married to Tom Holland.

The 29-year-old actress revealed her ultimate wedding dance anthem during an exclusive chat with People at the Los Angeles premiere of A24's wedding-themed dark comedy, The Drama, on March 17.

“I always say that This Is How We Do It [by Montell Jordan] always gets people going,” Zendaya shared. 

“As soon as everybody hears it, everybody’s up. It works every time.” For Zendaya, music is the key ingredient to a successful wedding, noting, “Dance is a universal language… people need music to set the vibe, to get the party started.”

Beyond dancing, Zendaya also described her hands-on approach as a wedding guest. 

“I’m the kind of person that’s like, ‘What do you need me to do?’” she said. “It’s like, ‘What’s going on? Do you need me to get the thing? Where’s your mom? Whatever you need me to do.’”

Her wedding insights come amid ongoing speculation about her personal life with longtime partner Tom Holland. 

Rumors of a secret marriage swirled after stylist Law Roach suggested at the 2026 Actor Awards that the couple’s wedding “already happened.” Zendaya has also been spotted wearing what appears to be a wedding band at multiple public events, including Paris Fashion Week, the 2026 Oscars, and during promotional appearances for The Drama.

A source confirmed to People that Zendaya recently accepted well-wishes from fellow attendees at Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood Awards on March 12, further fueling curiosity about her marital status.

The Drama opens in theaters nationwide on April 3.
