Natasha Lyonne shares positive update months after addiction setback
The star continues to speak openly about addiction and recovery
Natasha Lyonne has shared a hopeful update on her sobriety journey, revealing she is “back on her feet” three months after experiencing a relapse.
The Russian Doll star, 46, has long been candid about her struggles with addiction and reiterated that recovery remains a “lifelong process.”
In a recent post on X, Lyonne expressed gratitude for the support she received during a difficult period.
“Proud to report this kid is doing a whole lot better back on her feet,” she wrote, thanking recovery communities and fans who stood by her.
While noting she aims to keep parts of her journey private, Lyonne added she hopes to share her “experience, strength and hope” when the time feels right.
Her update comes after she publicly acknowledged her relapse in January, when she told followers she was facing a challenging chapter.
At the time, she emphasized that those struggling are not alone and encouraged others to “keep going.”
Lyonne’s battle with addiction has been well documented over the years.
She previously entered rehab in 2006 and has since spoken about the severity of her experience, once describing addiction as “really, really scary” and admitting she came close to losing her life.
Despite the setbacks, Lyonne has remained committed to openness, often highlighting the emotional complexities behind addiction.
In past interviews, she noted that while she has spoken extensively about her experiences, the underlying feelings are something many people continue to grapple with.
