  • Antioxidant Power: Moringa contains flavonoids and vitamins that neutralise free radicals and reduce chronic inflammation linked to metabolic issues and ageing.
  • Metabolic Support: High fibre and plant compounds aid digestion, improve nutrient absorption, and reduce bloating.
  • Glucose Control: Clinical studies indicate the powder helps manage post-meal blood sugar spikes and improves how the body uses glucose.
  • Energy Levels: Iron-rich properties, combined with B vitamins, combat fatigue and support healthy haemoglobin levels for better daily activity.
  • Heart Wellness: Antioxidants assist in maintaining balanced cholesterol and healthy blood pressure levels.

Safety and Considerations

Dr Sharma warns that moringa should be avoided if you take anti-diabetic medication, as it can lower blood sugar excessively.

It may also lower blood pressure, making it unsuitable for those with low blood pressure or thyroid conditions. Pregnant women must consult a qualified doctor before adding it to their diet.

Dr Sharma suggests selecting products that are bright green, fine-textured, and organic. Ideally, leaves should be shade-dried at low temperatures to preserve their full nutritional profile.
