Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor are taking suburban life to a whole new level in the newly released teaser for the upcoming science-fiction mystery, The End of Oak Street.

Directed by David Robert Mitchell, known for the 2014 psychological thriller It Follows, the film follows the Platt family as a mysterious cosmic event transforms their familiar neighborhood into a dangerous, unrecognizable landscape.

In the suspenseful trailer, Hathaway’s character warns her family, “I think our house, our neighborhood, our whole street — has moved,” as the family grapples with gravity-defying streets, dangling cars, and—unexpectedly—dinosaurs.

McGregor stars alongside Hathaway as Greg Platt, with Christian Convery and Maisy Stella portraying their children, Brian and Audrey.

The trailer teases the family’s desperate fight for survival and their attempts to uncover the cosmic mystery upending their lives.

Produced by J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, Mitchell, Matt Jackson, and Tommy Harper, the film promises a mix of suspense, action, and otherworldly thrills as the Platts navigate a suburban nightmare unlike any other.

Hathaway, who has a busy year ahead with films like Mother Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Odyssey, and Verity, will lead audiences into this August 14 release, bringing both star power and emotional depth to the family caught in extraordinary circumstances.
