'Your Honor' makes debut sale in Latin America

Your Honor, recently announced as the best-selling scripted format of the decade, is set for its first adaptation in Latin America.

The series from Israel, aired in the US featuring Bryan Cranston, will be redone by Brazil's Teleimage, with discussions about broadcasting underway.

Your Honor centers on a distinguished judge whose child becomes involved in a hit-and-run mishap, forcing him into tough decisions, ethical conflicts, and dire outcomes as he tries to conceal the offense. 

Cranston starred in the US rendition for Showtime. The Brazilian cast is yet to be announced.

Teleimage’s version marks the 14th global adaptation. As per a K7 report last week, the Yes Studios production shares the top spot as the best-selling scripted format of the decade.

Teleimage has previously produced HBO Max Brazil’s The American Guest, which depicted the adventures of ex-US President Teddy Roosevelt with Brazilian officer Candido Rondon.
