Wayne Rooney celebrates wife Coleen's 40th birthday with heartfelt tribute and throwback photos

Wayne Rooney has expressed a heartfelt tribute to Coleen, praising her as the most wonderful wife and mom to their four sons.

Today, Coleen is celebrating her 40th birthday, with husband Wayne turning to social media to commemorate the occasion with a series of nostalgic throwback pictures.

On Good Friday, Wayne took to Instagram and wrote: “Happy 40th Birthday to the greatest wife and mom we could ever hope for.

“We’re excited to celebrate with you and love you to pieces.”

The images featured Coleen and Wayne throughout the years, showcasing their affectionate and loving relationship.

The pictures included moments from sunlit vacations and festivals, several at Wimbledon, and heartwarming family photos with their four boys.

Fans flocked to leave birthday wishes for Coleen, some commenting on the wonderful collection of photos.

The family is all set for a series of festivities throughout the Easter weekend.

Workers were spotted last weekend assembling a large structure at the couple’s £20 million Cheshire mansion.

The mom of four, Coleen, previously mentioned that several events are in the works to celebrate her turning 40.

The I’m a Celebrity star revealed to OK! magazine: “I’m really looking forward to it.”

“I’ve decided to have several celebrations with family and friends over the year. With my birthday coinciding with the Easter weekend, some friends are away—so I’m taking any opportunity to extend the festivities.”

As the party planning kicked off, former England star Wayne and Coleen spent the weekend at Disneyland Paris with their youngest son Cass.

They were treated to an exclusive preview of the park’s stunning new World of Frozen attraction.
