TikTok star Bobbi Althoff claps back at online criticism over divorce and kids
The podcaster addressed trolls blaming her for her divorce and raising two daughters
Bobbi Althoff is speaking out against relentless online criticism about her personal life and family.
The 28-year-old podcaster and Not This Again host shared a TikTok on Wednesday, April 8, directly addressing harsh comments she receives from social media users, many of whom blame her for her divorce and the way she raises her two daughters, Isla, 3, and Luca, 5, with ex-husband Cory Althoff.
“I promise you guys, I hate myself more than you could ever hate me,” Althoff said in the video, which she shared with her 8.2 million TikTok followers. “I know that seems dramatic, and it is dramatic, but it’s true.”
Althoff recounted the hurtful messages she receives, including accusations that she “ruined” her family.
“Do you think that when I was a little girl, I was looking at my future and saying, ‘I really hope when I grow up, I get divorced and raise my kids in a broken home?’” she asked.
“Do you think when I met my ex-husband, I was like, ‘I can’t wait to divorce you one day?’ Or do you think life f---ing happened, and I am the one who has to live with what is happening in my life?”
The influencer also addressed the more extreme and malicious comments, including people wishing her harm.
“Do you guys want me to jump off a bridge? Would that make you happy? Truly, would that make you happy? Honestly, stupid question. It probably would,” she said. “That’s rude, though. That’s not very nice. Okay? It’s not nice.”
Althoff concluded her TikTok with a firm message to critics: “Just worry about your own life. You’re obviously ugly, or you wouldn’t be acting like this.”
The podcaster has previously spoken about keeping parts of her personal life private.
In a March 2026 interview with PEOPLE, she discussed why she rarely shares details about her relationship with boyfriend Tyler Hawkins, calling it “great” after nearly a year and a half of dating, but noting that her followers “don’t want me to be happy, apparently.”
