Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya’s reported rivalry shows no signs of cooling off, insiders suggest, with Hollywood observers speculating that tensions between the A-list actresses could last for decades.

The two stars, who worked together on Euphoria Season 3, were notably absent from one another during the series’ press tour.

At the Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday, April 7, the costars deliberately avoided on-camera interactions amid their ongoing fallout.

Euphoria bosses are all too aware the pair do not get along,” a source told The Sun. “There were tensions way back, and their paths barely crossed during the making of Season 3.

"During the press tour, any interactions are being kept to a minimum to avoid awkward encounters. Journalists are completely banned from asking about the Zendaya-Sydney dynamic.”

The source added that the feud is expected to persist. “They both have decades left in Hollywood, and this rivalry will inevitably run and run. There will be a sigh of relief when Euphoria is over and they can go their separate ways, but it’s not going to disappear anytime soon.”

According to insiders, the tension stems from multiple factors, including Sydney Sweeney’s reported flirtations with Zendaya’s fiancé, Tom Holland.

Another contributing element appears to be the actresses’ divergent political views: Sweeney is a supporter of the Republican Party, while Zendaya has publicly opposed former President Donald Trump.

Despite the behind-the-scenes friction, Euphoria Season 3 fans can expect the show to continue delivering its signature drama both on-screen and, it seems, off-screen.
