Katrina Kaif opens up about her mom single-handedly raising 8 kids

Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif spoke about her mom Suzanne Turquotte having 'so many children' in a resurfaced interview. Katrina has six sisters, including actor Isabelle Kaif, and a brother named Sebastien Laurent Michel.

In a 2019 interview with Filmfare , Kat also  threw shade on not having a father figure  while growing up and how it created a certain vacuum in her life. 

In the same she also   had a lot to say about her mother raising too many kids. 

"My mother has spoken to me about life in the last few years,  which has been much more helpful to me." 

When asked if she ever  questioned her mom what she was thinking after giving birth to seven girls. 

 "Ya, I did. I asked her what were you thinking when you had so many children and how did you do it on your own. But in the last few years, what my mom had to say about life, has been much more helpful to me. It bears more weight. Now that you can see things from a distance, you realise it must have been tough for her."

Kat also further  said how her parents separation had a part to play in navigating her personal life.
