Katy Perry shared a short note for her supporters after her representative dismissed a sexual assault claim made by Ruby Rose.

In an Instagram Stories update on Tuesday (April 14), Perry, aged 41, expressed to her audience, "i love you," accompanied by an image of her track "By the Grace of God" from her 2013 album Prism.

The song, which captures themes of overcoming, includes lyrics such as "I picked myself back up" and "Now I have to rise above / Let the universe call the bluff / Yeah the truth will set you free."

This social media post came after Rose, aged 40, alleged through a series of Threads on Sunday (April 12), that Perry assaulted her at an Australian club in her early 20s.

Describing the alleged event, Rose, an Australian model and actress recognized for shows like Orange Is the New Black, claimed Perry "noticed me 'resting' on my best friend's lap to avoid her and bent down, moved her underwear aside and pressed her private area on my face until my eyes opened and I vomited on her."

In an official statement on Monday (April 13), a spokesperson for Perry stated, "The accusations circulating on social media by Ruby Rose regarding Katy Perry are not only completely unfounded, but they are also dangerous, irresponsible falsehoods."

Perry's representative further stated, "Ms. Rose has a known history of making serious public accusations on social platforms against various individuals, with these claims being repeatedly refuted by the named parties."

Within one of the Threads posts, Rose shared that it "has taken nearly 20 years to say this publically," and "while I am deeply thankful to have survived long enough to find my voice, it highlights the extensive impact trauma and sexual assault can have."

Rose mentioned she is "not interested in pursuing a formal complaint over this" when responding to a Threads user who suggested her statements were linked to a Twitter spat she had with Perry in 2017, criticising Perry's track "Swish Swish."

Perry is "welcome to take legal action against me (she won't because it occurred, I have photographs and it was in public and witnessed by many)," asserted Rose on Threads. "Additionally, a lot more happened in the years leading up to her foolish song, and she won't want me to talk about it. The psychological tricks were strong with her."

Early on Tuesday (April 14), Rose posted an update saying she completed police reports for several earlier incidents she endured.

"This indicates I can't comment, repost, or discuss these matters publicly anymore, including the people involved," she stated. "It may seem like I'm ignoring everything—from supportive feedback to others' experiences—but I'm not. This is a common request from police and, in many respects, a relief. I can initiate my healing journey now. And gradually move on. I cherish you all dearly."
