Madonna offers reward after vintage Coachella costumes go missing
The missing items include pieces worn during her surprise set with Sabrina Carpenter
Madonna has offered a reward for the return of several vintage costume pieces that went missing following her surprise Coachella 2026 appearance.
The Queen of Pop shared the appeal on Instagram, writing that the items were not just stage outfits but part of her personal history.
“These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history,” Madonna said. “I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team.” She also confirmed she is offering a reward for their safe return.
Among the missing items are a purple jacket, corset, and dress worn during her guest performance alongside Sabrina Carpenter at the California festival.
Madonna noted that the outfit held special significance as it echoed the same style she wore during her Coachella appearance two decades earlier.
“It’s like a full-circle moment, very meaningful for me,” she told the crowd during the performance, as Carpenter joined her on stage.
According to reports, several additional pieces from the same era in her personal archive have also gone missing.
Authorities told TMZ that the items were last seen on a golf cart at around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday within the festival grounds.
Police added there is currently no evidence suggesting the items were intentionally stolen, and believe they may have fallen off the cart while being transported.
During her Coachella set, Madonna and Carpenter performed duet versions of Vogue and Like a Prayer.
The pop icon also debuted a new track from her upcoming album Confessions II, a follow-up to her 2005 record Confessions on a Dance Floor, which is set for release in July.
