Tori Spelling has paid a heartfelt tribute to her former partner Patrick Muldoon, remembering him as a “beautiful soul” and the “kindest, most caring human” following his death at the age of 57.

Muldoon, best known for his roles in Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place, reportedly died after suffering a heart attack, according to industry reports confirmed by his management.

In a deeply personal message shared on social media, Spelling reflected on their early relationship, recalling how they first met on what she described as a “blind date” that quickly turned into a genuine connection.

She said she had admired him long before they met, having been a fan of his on-screen role as Austin Reed.

Spelling described Muldoon as someone who was far more than his public image, calling him a man with a “beautiful soul” and a “raddest weird sense of humor.”

She said they shared a close bond built on laughter, music, and shared interests, including sports, guitars, and a mutual love for the film Grease.

“He was special and one of a kind,” she wrote, adding that he had a rare ability to make people smile and bring joy to those around him.

The actress also reflected on the close relationship she developed with Muldoon’s family, including his sister, and described their strong family bond as something she deeply admired.

She said she remained close friends with him long after their romantic relationship ended, noting that he continued to support her during difficult periods in her life.

Spelling shared that Muldoon often checked in on her and used humor to lift her spirits, recalling their long-standing inside jokes and calling him a consistent source of comfort and laughter.

She also reflected on meeting his partner, describing it as a moment that showed Muldoon had found happiness and balance in his personal life.

In her tribute, Spelling expressed regret that they never followed through on plans to meet again for dinner, adding that she wished they had made more time to reconnect.

“Life is short. Set that dinner,” she wrote, urging reflection on missed moments and time with loved ones.

Muldoon, who rose to fame in the 1990s through his television roles, remained active in the entertainment industry for decades and was widely recognized for his work in both daytime and primetime television.
