Charlize Theron stuns in shirtless blazer at 'Apex' New York premiere

Charlize Theron made a striking fashion statement as she stepped onto the red carpet for the premiere of her upcoming Netflix thriller Apex in New York City.

The Academy Award-winning actress, 50, attended the event at the Paris Theatre on April 22, opting for a daring Dior ensemble that featured an open black blazer worn without a shirt or bra. 

She paired the look with tailored trousers and a dramatic white pleated collar, complete with elongated ties cascading past her waist.

Theron, a longtime ambassador for Dior and the face of its J’adore fragrance for over two decades, completed her red carpet appearance with Dior Fine Jewelry and a bold red lip.

The premiere look is part of a series of fashion-forward appearances the actress has delivered while promoting Apex. 

Earlier in the day, she showcased multiple designer outfits during press engagements, including a structured set by Alaïa for a morning show appearance and a relaxed ensemble from Bottega Veneta, before switching into a sleek all-black look for a late-night television interview.

In Apex, Theron stars as Sasha, a grieving woman who retreats into the Australian wilderness, only to find herself in a deadly pursuit involving a serial killer played by Taron Egerton. 

The film, directed by Baltasar Kormákur, blends intense action with survival drama.

Speaking at the premiere, Theron described her character as “resilient” and “scrappy,” noting that she was particularly drawn to Sasha’s strength and determination. 

To prepare for the physically demanding role, the actress revealed she underwent rigorous training, including daily climbing and kayaking while filming in Australia.

Apex is set to premiere on Netflix on April 24.
