Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman was rushed to the hospital for emergency IV treatment after "soldiering on" through a gruelling filming schedule while battling the flu.

The 58-year-old actress was on the set of the Apple TV+ comedy-drama Margo's Got Money Troubles for a massive production sequence involving hundreds of extras.

Co-star Nick Offerman revealed that the crew initially feared the shoot would be cancelled after news broke at 8:00 a.m. that Kidman was severely ill.

However, the actress made a "superhero" entrance three hours later to ensure the production stayed on track.

The specific scene, which debuted in the 22 April 2026 episode, features Kidman’s character, Lace—a former professional wrestler turned lawyer—reuniting with her estranged family at a crowded fan convention.

Offerman told PEOPLE magazine that Kidman appeared "pale and shaken" upon her arrival but insisted on completing every necessary shot.

"She showed up and made sure that we got every shot of her... so that we did not lose one scrap of what we needed for her character," Offerman shared.

Immediately after the cameras stopped rolling, the actress was transported to a local medical facility for professional care.

Margo's Got Money Troubles stars Elle Fanning as a struggling young mother who finds success on OnlyFans by applying professional wrestling tropes suggested by her father, played by Offerman.

Kidman’s dedicated performance has already drawn significant critical acclaim, with many noting her physical commitment to the role.

Offerman remarked that Kidman’s work ethic is exactly "how you get to be Nicole Kidman," showing up for the crew even at her lowest.
