Meghan Trainor opened up about her decision to undergo breast augmentation surgery, saying she has “never felt better” following the procedure and that it helped her regain confidence after motherhood.

The 32-year-old singer, who shares three children with actor Daryl Sabara, spoke candidly in a new interview with The i Paper, explaining that the physical changes after childbirth left her struggling with her body image.

“I got a boob job because these empty boobies after children were heartbreaking to me,” Trainor said. “I didn’t like duct taping them to my shoulders — so quick implants for me, and I never felt better.”

Trainor, who welcomed her third child, Mikey, via surrogate earlier this year, said the decision was ultimately about feeling comfortable in her own body after pregnancy and motherhood.

Alongside her physical transformation, the All About That Bass singer also credited therapy with helping her manage public scrutiny and online criticism.

“My therapist helps me a lot,” she said. “She’s like, ‘You give these strangers a lot of power, why?’ And I’m like, ‘Ew, I don’t like that.’”

Trainor also reflected on her busy lifestyle, saying she hopes to make more time for friendships despite her demanding career and family life.

“I want to make more friends,” she added. “People say, ‘No, you’re not hard to be friends with, you just work a lot.’”

The interview comes shortly after Trainor cancelled her planned Get in Girl Tour, which was set to begin later this year.

Announcing the decision on social media, she said balancing a new album, tour preparations, and life with her growing family had become overwhelming.

“After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Get in Girl Tour,” she wrote, adding that she is prioritizing her family and promising fans she will return soon with new music.
