Leonardo DiCaprio sends playful response to Nikki Glaser following Golden Globes digs
Nikki Glaser shares the funny gift Leonardo DiCaprio sent after her Golden Globes jokes went viral
Comedian Nikki Glaser has revealed the surprisingly thoughtful gesture she received from Leonardo DiCaprio after joking about him during the 2026 Golden Globe Awards.
The 41-year-old entertainer recently reflected on her viral roast of the Oscar-winning actor, where she poked fun at his dating history and famously private lifestyle, joking that the only thing people truly know about him is his love for “pasta, pasta and more pasta.”
Speaking at Netflix Is a Joke’s Night of Too Many Stars event at the Hollywood Bowl on Wednesday, May 6, Glaser shared that DiCaprio later sent her three baskets of pasta in response to the jokes.
In an interview with People magazine, Glaser recalled being stunned when the delivery first arrived.
“I got sent a picture of it because I wasn't there when it arrived, and I was like, ‘What is this?’” she said. “And they were like, ‘It's from Leonardo DiCaprio,’ and I was like, ‘There's no way.’”
The comedian admitted she initially did not understand the reference until she remembered the punchline from her monologue.
“I was like, ‘He sent pasta?’ and I didn't remember that the joke I had told was that his favorite food was pasta, pasta, and more pasta, and that he sent me three baskets of it,” Glaser explained. “So, he did three servings of pasta. It was so funny.”
Glaser, who previously appeared on Dancing with the Stars, described the actor’s reaction as completely unexpected, praising him for handling the public jokes with grace.
“It was so entirely unexpected,” she said. “I was just bowled over by how kind it was because he took a couple of jokes that night that I’m sure — no one loves to have jokes directed at them, so it’s probably really kind of like, ‘Oh God, this again.’”
