Dana White has made headlines after calling rapper Sean Combs the “rudest celebrity” he has ever met, recounting a tense encounter at a charity event and claiming even UFC star Conor McGregor was left unimpressed after meeting him.

Speaking on The Katie Miller Podcast, the UFC president was asked to name the worst celebrity he had encountered. After briefly reflecting, White did not hold back, confirming the rapper as his answer.

“Who did we run into that’s…? Diddy,” he recalled being prompted off-camera. “Oh, Diddy, 100 per cent the biggest d******* ever,” he said.

White went on to describe an incident at a charity event hosted at businessman Ron Burkle’s home, where he brought his niece, who was reportedly excited to meet the music mogul. According to White, the interaction did not go as expected.

“My niece was all excited… I said, ‘Go take a picture with him,’” White said. “She came back and said, ‘No, they were scary.’”

He alleged that Combs arrived with a large security detail, which made the environment uncomfortable for fans at the event. White criticized the situation, questioning the need for such security at a family-focused charity gathering.

White also extended his criticism by saying he felt the treatment of fans at the event was inappropriate, particularly toward his niece, who had simply wanted a photo.

The UFC executive further claimed that McGregor, who once admired the rapper, had a similarly negative reaction upon meeting him at a sporting event.

“Conor McGregor was a P Diddy fan. Conor ran into him… he wanted to punch him in the face,” White said.

The remarks come as Combs, 56, is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence in New Jersey following convictions on charges related to transportation for the purpose of prostitution.
