Production for Season 2 of "Moving" has commenced on Disney+. Leading actors Ryu Seungryong, Han Hyojoo, Zo Insung, and Go Younjung are returning, with Won Gyubin joining the cast.

The storyline unravels soon after the Jeongwon High School Incident, showcasing the characters' efforts to return to normalcy, only for previous and new threats to emerge, endangering their loved ones. Ryu Seungbum, Kim Dohoon, and Shim Dalgi will reprise their roles from Season 1, while Won Gyubin steps into the role of Kim Bongseok.

The season is directed by Kim Seonghun, known for "Kingdom," with a script penned by Kangfull, the original webtoon creator who also wrote the first season. This second season expands the streaming universe that began with "Moving" and evolved through "Light Shop."

"With the debut season of ‘Moving,’ I aimed to set a new standard for Korean superhero tales. For the sequel, my plan is to elevate the series further, transforming it into something truly outstanding,” expressed Kangfull.

“‘Moving’ has shown that top-quality Korean storytelling, deeply emotional and executed with cinematic flair, resonates globally in a profound way. As we gear up for Season 2, we are thrilled to build on this momentum with our creative partners and expand the universe of Moving for worldwide fans,” shared Carol Choi, executive vice president of APAC original content strategy at The Walt Disney Company.

“Moving” launched in August 2023, quickly becoming the most-watched Korean original on Disney+ and Hulu of the year. It received a nomination at the 29th Critics’ Choice Awards and won several accolades at the Busan International Film Festival’s Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards, including Best Creative, Best Visual Effects, Best Writer (Kangfull), Best Lead Actor (Ryu Seungryong), Best Newcomer Actor (Lee Jungha), and Best Newcomer Actress (Go Younjung).

It also secured the Best Series and Best Actress in a Series (Han Hyojoo) awards at the 59th Daejong International Film Award.
