Supermodel Kate Moss could soon become the subject of a major new Netflix docuseries, according to fresh reports suggesting streaming executives are eager to secure the fashion icon for a tell-all project.

The reported series is said to be tied to the 35th anniversary of Moss’ iconic 1992 Calvin Klein advertising campaign, which helped launch her into global superstardom and cemented her status as one of fashion’s defining figures of the 1990s.

According to The Sun, producers are actively trying to bring the project to life, with Netflix reportedly among the interested platforms following the success of celebrity-led documentaries featuring stars including David Beckham, Victoria Beckham, Kylie Minogue and Gordon Ramsay.

A source told the outlet that although Moss has long followed a “never complain, never explain” approach to fame, there are signs she may now be open to discussing her life and career more publicly.

“Getting Kate on board would make a huge difference to the streamers and probably spark a bidding war,” the insider reportedly said.

However, the report suggested the project remains in early stages, with Moss’ involvement potentially depending on formal interest from a major streamer such as Netflix.

Producers are reportedly hopeful that the success of recent celebrity autobiographical documentaries could encourage Moss to participate in the series.

Now 52, Moss remains one of the most recognisable figures in fashion history after dominating runways, magazine covers and global campaigns throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.

Earlier this year, Moss’ daughter, Lila Moss, shared a heartfelt tribute to her mother on social media for her birthday, posting a throwback childhood photo alongside the caption: “Happy birthday mummy!!! I love you the mostest.”

Moss has also recently reflected on gaining more control over her career after decades in the spotlight.

In a 2022 interview with the Evening Standard, the supermodel admitted she did not always feel empowered professionally during the early years of her career.

“Now I know exactly what I’m doing when I turn up on the day,” Moss said at the time. “I know who’s doing hair and make-up, who I’m working with.”
