Logan Paul suffers serious injury during tag title defence
WWE confirmed the setback on Monday Night Raw, ruling the star out for an extended period
Influencer-turned-wrestler Logan Paul has suffered a torn tricep injury that will keep him out of action for several months, marking a major setback in his WWE career.
The injury occurred over the weekend during a World Tag Team Championship defence, where Paul and his Vision teammate Austin Theory successfully retained their titles against the Street Profits duo of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Although Paul managed to finish the match, WWE confirmed on Monday Night Raw on Netflix that the 31-year-old star is now sidelined for “a number of months.”
During the broadcast, commentary replayed a key moment in which a high-risk dive by Dawkins is believed to have caused the injury.
The announcement was later followed by storyline developments backstage, where Austin Theory questioned the future of the tag team titles alongside manager Paul Heyman.
Heyman addressed the situation by declaring that The Vision’s championship reign would continue under any combination of its members, signalling that Theory could now team with Bron Breakker to defend the titles in Paul’s absence.
Tensions escalated on-screen as Theory vowed revenge on those responsible, later attacking Joe Hendry and Angelo Dawkins with a steel chair.
WWE is now reportedly building toward a new tag team rivalry involving Seth Rollins and Montez Ford facing off against The Vision’s Breakker and Theory.
This is not the first major injury for Paul inside the ring.
In 2022, he suffered a meniscus and MCL sprain during his high-profile match against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, before returning to action months later.
