Singer Demi Lovato and her husband Jordan “Jutes” Lutes marked a heartfelt milestone as the musician celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a romantic tribute calling her his “soulmate.”

Lutes shared a series of throwback photos on Instagram on May 25, including moments from the couple’s wedding day, alongside a message reflecting on their first year of marriage.

“Happy one year anniversary to my wifey! It’s crazy to think a year has gone by already, and somehow I love you even more than I did a year ago,” he wrote.

“You’re SO clearly my soulmate and the best friend I’ve ever had.”

He added a playful note at the end of the post, joking about reuniting with the pop star amid their busy schedules: “Can’t wait to see you and devour your face. I love you beyond words baby.”

Lovato, who is currently touring in the United States, responded with her own affectionate message, writing: “happy anniversary my love, u r the best thing that’s ever happened to me!!!” and adding, “i love u angel!!!!”

The couple, who tied the knot on May 25, 2025, were reportedly unable to spend their anniversary together due to professional commitments, though both marked the occasion publicly on social media.

In earlier interviews, Lovato, 33, has spoken openly about how her relationship with Lutes has deepened over time, describing a growing emotional connection that has continued well beyond their wedding day.

“I really thought on my wedding day that was maxed out, like the most amount of love that you'll ever feel for a person,” she previously told E! News. “And then time goes by and you just form this connection that is so intimate and so fulfilling.”

She also credited their strong bond to shared laughter and companionship, describing their relationship as one that feels both romantic and deeply rooted in friendship.

“We laugh, we have so much fun together,” she said. “It just feels like a giant sleepover with your best friend that you happen to be really, really attracted to.”
