John Stamos has revealed that a botched nose job from the 1980s was later corrected by a plastic surgeon known for working with the late pop icon Michael Jackson.

The Full House star, 62, opened up about the experience on a recent episode of The Really Good Podcast, where he discussed undergoing two cosmetic procedures after becoming dissatisfied with the results of his first surgery.

“I broke it when I was a kid. I got hit with a golf club. There was a little scar,” Stamos said.

“And I was on General Hospital, and I just didn’t like the way it looked, and so I got it done, and it didn’t look great.”

He explained that he later opted for a revision procedure to correct the outcome.

“And then I went and I actually had it fixed by Michael Jackson’s guy,” he said, clarifying that the surgeon did not attempt to make him resemble Jackson.

Jackson himself had previously acknowledged undergoing multiple cosmetic procedures, including work on his nose, in past interviews.

Stamos also reflected on his own approach to aging and cosmetic enhancements, saying he has no plans for major facial surgery but has used Botox in the past.

“I won’t do that,” he said of a facelift. “I’ve gotten Botox in my forehead, but not for a long time.”

Beyond cosmetic procedures, the actor credited lifestyle changes—particularly quitting alcohol as a major factor in his appearance and well-being.

“I stopped drinking 10 years ago. That’s why I’m alive,” he previously said in an interview with Us Weekly. “Getting married and having a child, that’s kept me young and kept me alive.”

Stamos, who is married to Caitlin McHugh, added that family life and fitness have played a key role in maintaining his health and energy as he ages in Hollywood.
