Taylor Swift stepped out in a retro-inspired orange ensemble on Monday for a visit to the legendary Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village, New York City, as wedding speculation around the pop star continued to intensify. The outing came during a packed few days in the city for the 36-year-old singer.

The outfit
Swift anchored her look in a warm orange palette, pairing a retro-style Guest in Residence short-sleeved beige knit top with orange trim with high-waisted jeans and an orange belt. She completed the ensemble with chunky Gucci platform sandals, a matching shoulder bag, and small hoop earrings. Her hair was worn down and loose, and she finished the look with her signature red lip.
A busy week in New York
The studio visit capped off a whirlwind stretch in the city for Swift. She attended Game 4 of the Knicks vs Spurs NBA Finals on Wednesday, before making history the following Thursday as the youngest woman ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Over the weekend, she and fiancé Travis Kelce enjoyed a date night at the Broadway production of Oh, Mary!
Mayor confirms wedding in press conference
Wedding speculation reached a new level on Monday when New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani publicly referenced the forthcoming nuptials during a press conference on security preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Several insiders had already told Page Six that Swift and Kelce plan to host their wedding at Madison Square Garden over the 3 July weekend.
"I am fully confident in the work of the NYPD, as well as our state partners, in delivering that safe experience," Mamdani told reporters. "We are the biggest city in the country," he continued. "We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for this one. We know it coincides with the Knicks' [NBA] Finals run." "We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift's wedding — all happening at the same time — and we are so excited to welcome the world here," he concluded.
Swift and Kelce, both 36, got engaged in August 2025 when the Kansas City Chiefs Star proposed after two years of dating.
