Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz made their appearance at Fuchsia Magazine
Popular celebrity couple Nida Yasir and her husband Yasir Nawaz revealed their take on the popular Turkish historic series Dirilis Ertugrul.
The series broke viewership records in Pakistan over just no time when it was first aired on PTV.
While sitting for a chat with Fuchsia Magazine, Nida and Yasir revealed why the series was a blockbuster.
“The series was a hit because of all saas-bahu drama and the intrigues of the household shown in it. It was not a hit because of action sequences or wars,” they said.
“Television audiences all over the world is the same and they mostly want to watch the household issues on their television screens.”
As the Turkish play continued to gain much fandom many Pakistani stars rose in support of the content but some even lashed out at the Turkish actors taking over talent of the Pakistani actors.
Engin Altan Duzyatan, Esra Bilgic and many more were part of the wide star cast.
