Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld shine at Sam Darnold’s wedding after baby news
The couple’s first outing as a family of three was full of laughter, dancing, and playful 'crowd surfing'
Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld enjoyed a night out as new parents at Sam Darnold’s wedding, just a day after announcing the arrival of their baby girl.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback and the Academy Award–winning actress, both 29, attended Darnold’s ceremony with his bride, Katie Hoofnagle, on Friday, April 3, perPeople.
The outing came one day after the couple shared the joyful news of their daughter’s birth in a Substack post titled “Special Delivery.”
Steinfeld wrote, “Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savoring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
“Hailee and Josh were so sweet on the dance floor, clearly having a blast,” a source told People.
“People were politely congratulating them on their baby girl, and they were very kind.” The insider added that Allen, along with Darnold’s teammates, joined in celebrating with some playful “crowd surfing” during the reception.
Other NFL stars in attendance included San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and his wife, Olivia Culpo, Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp and his wife, Anna Marie Kupp, and 49ers wide receiver Christian Kirk.
Allen has spoken openly about his excitement for fatherhood. In December, he told the Associated Press he was “overjoyed, absolutely overjoyed” about becoming a dad.
He added that he looks forward to raising his daughter in Buffalo, calling the city his home: “It’s where I’ve done a lot of growing up. And it’s a place that I’ll raise a family. It’s really cool.”
