David and Victoria Beckham seek end to Brooklyn Beckham family feud
Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham remain distant despite David Beckham's public olive branch
David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly making desperate attempts to mend a years-long estrangement from their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.
According to reports published in The Cut on Wednesday, the couple have offered to meet Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, under any conditions they choose.
The parents are allegedly willing to involve lawyers, Peltz’s family members, or mediators to repair the fractured relationship.
However, the 27-year-old aspiring chef remains resistant to these overtures. In a scathing Instagram statement issued in January, he clarified his stance: “I do not want to reconcile with my family.”
Brooklyn alleged that tensions have brewed since before his 2022 wedding, claiming his parents showed a "distaste" for his wife.
He further accused them of controlling family narratives with “performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships.”
The conflict peaked with claims regarding his wedding day. Brooklyn noted: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.”
Despite these public accusations, David and Victoria continue to signal their support. Last month, David posted a birthday tribute on Instagram, stating: “We love you.”
The emotional weight of the rift was also visible when younger brother Cruz Beckham performed "Loneliest Boy" at the Courtyard Theatre, tearfully singing: “Don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.”
While the couple remains focused on this reconciliation, they continue to support their other children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, in their various professional pursuits.
