Aubrey Plaza appeared in high spirits as she showcased her growing baby bump at a special screening for her new animated series, Kevin, on Thursday.

The 41-year-old actress arrived at the New York City event wearing a white floral minidress, complete with matching heels, as she prepares for the arrival of her first child with partner Christopher Abbott.

During the evening, Plaza was joined by co-stars Whoopi Goldberg and Quinta Brunson, both of whom were seen affectionately cradling the actress's bump.

Plaza recently confirmed the news during an appearance on the Smartless podcast, where she told hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, "Well, there’s a baby inside of me," adding, "No, I said there is a baby inside of me right now."

Expressing her anticipation for motherhood, she shared, "I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know?"

Despite her pregnancy, the Parks and Recreation alumna has maintained a busy schedule, having been spotted travelling by subway in the city earlier this week.

Insiders told People Magazine that the pregnancy was "a beautiful surprise after an emotional year," following a period of significant personal difficulty.

The actress created the series Kevin alongside her former partner Joe Wengert. The adult animation, which follows the life of a housecat who chooses independence from humans, is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on 20 April.

This new professional milestone comes as Plaza navigates a fresh chapter in her life following the tragic death of her husband, Jeff Baena, in January 2025.
