Pop sensation Meghan Trainor has shockingly cancelled her 2026 "Get in Girl" tour just two months before its scheduled commencement, citing an urgent need to be "home and present" for her family.

The 32-year-old singer shared the news via her Instagram Story on Thursday, explaining that the demands of her professional and personal life had become overwhelming following the recent expansion of her household.

"After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the ‘Get in Girl’ tour," Trainor revealed to her followers.

She explained that "balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now."

Trainor and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their daughter, Mikey Moon Trainor, via surrogate on 18 January 2026.

The tour was originally slated to begin on 12 June in Clarkston, Michigan, concluding in Los Angeles in August. While expressing deep regret to her fans, the "Made You Look" songstress insisted this was the "right decision" for her well-being.

Despite the cancellation, her seventh studio album, Toy With Me, is still scheduled for release on 24 April. Trainor, who is also mother to sons Riley and Barry, recently defended her choice of surrogacy as a "beautiful way to build a family."

Having risen to global fame with her 2014 debut, the star now enters a quiet period to nurture her young children.
