  • Dave Coulier lost 45 pounds due to radiation treatments that prevented him from eating solids.
  • The actor confirmed that his recent scans show a positive prognosis for both of his cancers.
  • Coulier is now focusing on a "non-toxic" lifestyle as he continues his journey in remission.

"Full House" alum Dave Coulier has opened up about his physical transformation following a challenging journey with cancer treatment.

In an Instagram Reel posted on Thursday, the 66-year-old actor addressed fans who noticed changes in his appearance and voice.

Mr Coulier revealed that he has lost 45 pounds and experienced speech alterations as a direct side effect of extensive radiation therapy for carcinoma in his throat.

The comedian explained that the treatment rendered him unable to consume solid food for several months, leading to a drastic change in his weight.

"That’s what you’re seeing, and it’s affected my ability to speak," he told his followers, confirming their observations about his vocal tone.

Despite the difficult physical toll, Mr Coulier shared encouraging news regarding his recovery. Recent PET scans indicate a positive prognosis for both the throat carcinoma and the non-Hodgkin lymphoma he was diagnosed with in 2024.

Mr Coulier's health battle has been extensive; after being declared cancer-free from stage 3 lymphoma in early 2025, he was diagnosed with HPV-related oropharyngeal tongue cancer just months later.

By February 2026, he announced he was in remission for both conditions. Reflecting on his recovery, the actor recently discussed adopting a less "toxic" lifestyle, starting with simple changes to everyday household products.

While he admits feeling that cancer is always in his "rearview mirror," he expressed immense gratitude for his current progress and the support of his audience.
