Kris Jenner opens up about side effects from weight loss injections
The reality star revealed she briefly tried weight loss injections before switching treatments
Kris Jenner has opened up about her experience with weight loss injections, revealing that the treatment initially left her feeling “really sick” before she eventually switched to alternatives that worked better for her.
The Kardashians star, 70, said she briefly tried Ozempic in an effort to manage her weight, but stopped after experiencing severe nausea and fatigue that disrupted her daily routine.
Speaking on the SHE MD Podcast, Jenner explained that the side effects were intense enough to affect her ability to work.
“I tried it. We tried it once when no one knew what it was and it made me really sick,” she said.
“I can’t work anymore. I’m so sick. I’m nauseous,” she added, noting that her doctor ultimately advised her to explore other options.
Jenner said she later transitioned to peptide injections along with supplements such as fish oil and omega-3s, which she described as a “game changer” for her well-being.
According to the reality star, the new routine not only improved her energy levels but also helped her manage her demanding schedule more effectively.
“It actually bought me an extra couple hours at night,” she said, explaining that her early mornings and long workdays often left her exhausted.
Jenner also confirmed that she has previously undergone cosmetic procedures, including a facelift in 2025, which she says contributed to her refreshed appearance.
“I had a very well-known facelift a year ago,” she noted, adding that it formed part of her broader approach to feeling confident and maintaining her appearance.
Her comments come after she recently addressed speculation about her surgery results, rejecting claims that she was unhappy with the procedure or her surgeon.
Speaking on her daughter Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, Jenner dismissed the rumours as false.
“I love my facelift. I adore my doctor. I’m obsessed with him,” she said, pushing back against headlines suggesting otherwise.
