Nicole Kidman shares emotional Mother’s Day tribute after Keith Urban split

Nicole Kidman celebrated Mother’s Day with a heartfelt tribute to her daughters, marking the first holiday since her reported split from longtime husband Keith Urban.

The Oscar-winning actress shared a sweet throwback photo on Instagram featuring daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, whom she shares with Urban following the couple’s reported separation in 2025 after nearly two decades of marriage.

In the candid image, Kidman was seen giving one daughter a piggyback ride while smiling warmly toward the other as the trio posed outdoors in coordinated white and cream outfits.

“To my beautiful girls, the greatest joy is being your mother,” the actress wrote in the caption alongside a Mother’s Day message dedicated to mothers around the world.

The emotional post quickly drew attention online as fans praised the actress for focusing on family during a significant personal transition.

In addition to Sunday and Faith, Kidman also shares adopted children Bella and Connor with former husband Tom Cruise.

Sources close to the actress previously described her bond with Sunday and Faith as especially close, noting that the trio spent much of the past year together while Urban was away touring before news of the split became public.

Both daughters have also begun stepping into the spotlight in recent years. Sunday made her runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in 2024, while Faith appeared alongside her mother in a beauty campaign in 2025.

Earlier this month, Kidman brought Sunday as her guest to the 2026 Met Gala, where the mother-daughter duo drew attention for their coordinated designer looks.

During the event, Kidman joked that despite the glamour of the evening, her teenage daughter still had school the next morning, saying they were “keeping it real.”
