Zendaya reveals challenges of working on multiple blockbusters at the same time
The actress has revealed the strain of juggling Euphoria, The Odyssey and Dune: Part Three at the same time
Zendaya has opened up about the intense pressure of juggling multiple high-profile projects at the same time, admitting that the demanding schedule left her exhausted while she worked across film and television.
The Golden Globe-winning actress is currently balancing filming duties for Euphoria, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three, describing the experience as both creatively rewarding and physically draining.
Speaking to Elle, Zendaya recalled how her schedule often blurred together as she moved between sets and characters.
She described being on set for Euphoria during night shoots on a ranch while simultaneously preparing for her role in Dune, saying she was “so tired” but still working through her Chakobsa dialogue in between takes.
The actress also revealed that she had to adjust quickly between productions, explaining that she began writing out her lines in preparation for a short turnaround trip to Iceland for The Odyssey.
While she noted that her role in the film does not involve extensive dialogue, she emphasized the pressure of working with Christopher Nolan and ensuring she was fully prepared.
Zendaya admitted that the high-pressure environment occasionally led to mistakes, sharing that she once fumbled her lines during production — something she called “the most embarrassing thing in life.”
Despite the intensity of her schedule, Zendaya continues to move between major projects.
She recently appeared in The Drama alongside Robert Pattinson, and continues her role as Rue Bennett in Euphoria, which airs weekly on HBO and HBO Max.
Looking ahead, she is set to appear in The Odyssey, releasing in July, followed by Spider-Man: Brand New Day later in the month. Dune: Part Three is scheduled to premiere in December 2026.
