Madonna, 67, and Sabrina Carpenter, 27, have released a music video for their pop-dance collaboration "Bring Your Love" on Monday ahead of the release of Madonna's forthcoming studio album Confessions II on 3 July. The video marks the latest chapter in a collaboration that began with Carpenter's 2026 Coachella set in April.

The release was reported across entertainment media as part of the build-up to one of the most anticipated pop albums of the year.

Inside the video

Directed by David Tori and Solomon Chase — the directing duo known as TORSO — the video follows Madonna and the Taste singer as they lose themselves on a crowded dance floor, surrounded by dancers. The two eventually find each other and continue to sing and revel in the moment together.

Actress Julia Garner makes a special appearance on the dance floor before Madonna finds her way out of the club and closes the door behind her, which bears a poster reading: "Come to the club of love."

Confessions II build-up

Earlier this month, Madonna appeared at the Tribeca Festival to preview Confessions II with a short film directed by TORSO, which followed her on "a transcendent journey that catapults the viewer through a f---ked-up night out," according to an official release. The film featured snippets of the album's first six tracks — including previously released songs "I Feel So Free" and "Bring Your Love," alongside "Good for the Soul," "One Step Away," "Danceteria," and "Read My Lips" — as well as portions of the "Bring Your Love" music video.

The day before the short film dropped, Madonna transformed New York City's Times Square into a club to preview Confessions II and help kick off Pride Month in partnership with Grindr. During the performance, she sang fan favourites from her original 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor and debuted new material from the forthcoming follow-up.

How the collaboration began

Madonna released "Bring Your Love" as the lead single from Confessions II following her appearance at Carpenter's Coachella set in April 2026. Shortly after the single dropped, Carpenter took to Instagram to celebrate alongside photos with the pop icon. "Thank you Madonna for inviting me to be a part of Confessions II i hope you all enjoy it & take a break from phone and go out and dance!" she wrote.
