Hilary Duff celebrates childhood memories with longtime fans
The Lizzie McGuire star is celebrating both her past and present as audiences continue embracing her classic songs
Hilary Duff says she considers it a "badge of honour" that she was part of so many childhoods, as longtime fans continue sharing how her work shaped their early years.
The 38-year-old actress and singer rose to fame starring in Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire, which aired from 2001 to 2004, before launching a successful music career with hits including So Yesterday, Come Clean and What Dreams Are Made Of.
Speaking to People, Duff said hearing from fans about the impact she had on their childhoods remains one of the most meaningful parts of her career.
She is currently performing across the United States on her Lucky Me Tour, where classic songs continue to receive enthusiastic sing-alongs alongside her newer music.
Duff said she enjoys celebrating both her past and present on stage, adding that it is especially rewarding when audiences embrace her recent material just as passionately as the songs that first made her famous.
Away from touring, the actress is also balancing life as a mother of four, saying she tries to slow down occasionally and appreciate the milestones she continues to achieve.
