Alix Earle explains why she stayed silent about Alex Cooper drama

Alix Earle has revealed when she plans to publicly address her highly discussed feud with Alex Cooper after months of speculation.

The 25-year-old influencer shared that she will tell her side of the story in her family's upcoming Netflix reality series, Earle Meets World, which is set to premiere later this year.

Speaking to TIME in an interview published on July 14, Earle explained that she was initially reluctant to discuss the situation while filming.

“Then everything unfolded the way it did while we were filming,” she said. “There was a serious struggle behind the scenes of emotions, and my family showed up for me.”

She added that while online drama may seem entertaining to viewers, the experience was far more difficult in real life.

“Those moments that sometimes seem so fun for people online, but are hard behind the scenes — I am happy that we were able to capture that,” Earle said.

Rumours of tension between Earle and Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper had circulated for months before Cooper publicly addressed the speculation in April.

In a TikTok video, Cooper accused Earle of fueling “fake drama” and challenged her to address the issue directly.

“You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you’ve got to say about me,” Cooper said. “There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself.”

The video came shortly after Earle reposted another creator's TikTok criticizing Cooper for allegedly sharing people's stories during vulnerable moments.

Following Cooper's post, Earle appeared to tease a response by commenting, “Okay on it!!” She later shared a video reacting to the TikTok, saying it had “literally made my whole day.”

Despite that, Earle has remained largely silent about the feud in public. During a recent appearance on the Today show, she declined to discuss whether there was genuine conflict between the pair.

“I’m trying to keep things pretty positive today,” she said. “Why ruin such a good day with something not so great? Let’s keep the positive vibes going.”

In the same TIME interview, Earle also revealed that Earle Meets World will delve into her family's personal relationships and challenges.

“There’s stuff in my family that we didn’t really talk about for so long, because we were all hurt in our own way,” she said.

“It was important to show how we got to where we are today, and that things aren’t perfect all the time,” Earle added.

The reality series will follow Earle and her extended family, offering viewers a closer look at both her personal life and the events behind one of social media's most talked-about celebrity feuds.
