Drake has adorned his face with a new tattoo, featuring the Arabic phrase 'miskeen' above his right eyebrow.

The 37-year-old artist, known for his chart-topping hits and distinctive style, showcased the fresh ink on Saturday night, catching the attention of fans and the media alike.

The term 'miskeen' holds particular significance in the Somali community, prevalent in Drake's hometown of Toronto.

According to sources, the phrase carries dual meanings; it can be interpreted as describing someone who is "poor" or "pathetic," but alternatively, it can signify a "sweet" or "innocent" individual.

Reports suggest that residents of Toronto are more accustomed to using the term in the latter context.

Photographer Brent Kore first unveiled the new tattoo on Instagram, sparking speculation about its meaning and the Rich Baby Daddy singer's inspiration behind it.

Despite the buzz surrounding the ink, the rapper has yet to confirm the significance of the word or share a photo on his personal Instagram account.

This recent addition is not Drake's first venture into facial tattoos, as last summer, he inked his mother Sandra Gale's initials under his left eye.

The unveiling of the 'miskeen' tattoo coincides with the release of the One Dance hitmaker's surprise EP, Scary Hours 3.
