  • Zendaya arrived an hour late to the Euphoria premiere to avoid co-star Sydney Sweeney.
  • The late arrival follows months of rumors regarding a major feud between the stars.
  • Insiders noted the cast used military-style precision to ensure the pair were not photographed together.

Zendaya reportedly executed a calculated "power move" at the season three premiere of Euphoria, arriving a full hour late to avoid potential tension with co-star Sydney Sweeney.

While the majority of the cast members were seated by 7pm for the highly anticipated screening, the show’s leading actress did not appear until 8pm.

The late arrival followed months of rumours regarding a significant on-set feud between the two breakout stars, with insiders claiming the pair now go to great lengths to avoid each other "on and off" set.

The frosty atmosphere was further scrutinised by Richard Osman and Marina Hyde in the latest episode of the podcast The Rest Is Entertainment.

Discussing the "military style" precision required to manage the event, Hyde noted the conspicuous absence of any joint photography.

"The red carpet for this thing... Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney. You're not going to see those two in a picture," Hyde remarked, highlighting the strategic navigation of the red carpet.

She added that while others were "long in their seats," Zendaya's late entry served as a clear statement of the current cast dynamics.

Despite the backstage friction, the stars have returned to the HBO series to provide closure for their characters. Hyde suggested that the actors likely feel the show is "iconic" and that they "owe it something," or perhaps that creator Sam Levinson was simply "very persuasive."

While the third season has faced multiple production delays over several years, it remains a cornerstone of modern television. Zendaya is currently preparing for several major film projects, including the upcoming sci-fi epic Odyssey.
