Demi Moore teams up with Charlize Theron and Julia Garner in Amazon MGM thriller ‘Tyrant’

Demi Moore (Landman) has been cast in a significant role alongside Charlize Theron and Julia Garner in Tyrant, a new culinary thriller from Amazon MGM Studios and writer-director David Weil, Deadline reports.

Filming will commence shortly in Los Angeles, benefiting from a California tax credit. 

Details of Tyrant's story remain confidential, though it is described as an intense thriller situated in the sophisticated world of New York City’s gourmet dining scene.

The screenplay, crafted by Weil, stems from a concept he developed with Cody Behan. 

Producing the film are The Picture Company’s Alex Heineman & Andrew Rona, along with Theron and her Secret Menu collaborators Beth Kono & A.J. Dix. 

Weil will also take on a producing role with his partner Natalie Laine Williams, while Stan Wlodkowski is set as executive producer.

Following a recent Oscar nomination for The Substance, Moore can now be seen leading in the popular Paramount+ show Landman by Taylor Sheridan, which is gearing up for its third season, with her role expanded in the second season.

Next, Moore will star alongside Keke Palmer and Naomi Ackie in Boots Riley’s Neon crime comedy I Love Boosters, fresh off its debut at SXSW.
