Sylvester Stallone visited the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Sunday for the inaugural of the first-ever Rocky Day, in honor of the 47th anniversary of his 1976's film Rocky.
As reported by Daily Mail, despite the chilly and rainy weather of Philadelphia, fans who have always celebrated Stallone's classic film, Rocky gathered to witness the iconic actor being honored with a key to the city to official inaugurate the first ever Rocky Day.
The event, which took place near the museum steps featuring the famous Rocky statue also marked the grand opening of the Rocky Shop, offering the licensed merchandise from Stallone's brand.

During his conversation with 6abc, Stallone explained that reaching the top of the stairs makes people a "champion of their dreams."
"You get to the top, you feel inspired, you feel special, hopeful, happy, and most of all, proud of yourself," the Rambo actor added.
Stallone also declared to the large crowd, "Life is a fight, It's a tough fight and get ready, you're going to win some and you're gonna lose a lot."
The Expend4bles actor further continued, "but the real victory is in never giving up and going the distance for yourself, your loved ones."
He added, "and standing at the top of these steps you're reminded that all things are possible, keep punching."

In the movie, Rocky was a struggling club fighter from South Philly, who embodies an honorable man with a lot of hearts, with a desire to find a breakthrough in his boxing career.
