Greta Gerwig and her beau Noah Baumbach exchanged wedding vows recently.

As reported by PEOPLE, the love birds, who were in a relationship for 12 years, finally got married at the New York City Hall.

Barbie director met her now-husband in 2012 when she was filming the hit movie Greenberg.

The wedding news comes after a busy year for Greta and Noah, who were busy writing the Barbie screenplay.

The Lady Bird filmmaker and her partner welcomed their first child, son Harold Ralph Gerwig Baumbach, together in March 2019.

While talking about her son, Greta told the media outlet, “The little guy is sleeping through the night. But I'm still doing that thing where I wake up, every hour to 90 minutes, and just hover. You just keep wanting to look at that baby. So I'm slightly in a twilight state.”

Noah had a dialogue with Vogue about why he loves working alongside Greta.

He explained, “I think the pleasure of writing for us is that it seeps into everything. I'd show her a cut of my movie, and then a few months later, I'm watching her movie. I don't want to sound sickeningly happy, but it's a truly great thing to watch someone you love make something and love the thing they make. I don't know how else to say it without saying great a lot.”

The newly-wed couple was individually nominated for Oscars in 2020—Noah was nominated for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay for his film Marriage Story and Greta was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay for Little Women.
