When you think of feminism, you might not immediately think of men, but in Hollywood, many A-list hunks are proudly part of the movement and passionate supporters.

From proudly identifying as feminists to supporting female-led initiatives, these Hollywood gentlemen such as Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Styles, and Justin Baldoni, are unapologetically hard-core feminists.

Celebrating men's contributions to feminism, here is a list of Hollywood heroes championing women's rights:

Interestingly, Schwimmer’s mother is also a feminist activist and lawyer and he also cites his mother and sister as examples of women who have shaped his perspective.

The Hulk star has literally penned an essay on reproductive rights, citing his mother's own illegal abortion and his two daughters as the reason for his passionate feelings.

"I am a man. I could say this has nothing to do with me," he wrote, adding, "Except I have two daughters and I have a mother who was forced to illegally have an abortion in her state where abortion was illegal when she was a very young woman. It cost $600 cash."

Ruffalo went on to say, "It was a traumatizing thing for her. It was shameful and sleazy and demeaning. When I heard the story I was aghast by the lowliness of a society that would make a woman do that.

"I could not understand its lack of humanity; today is no different."

Ryan Gosling

Gosling has always expressed his disappointment with the film industry's censoring of female sexuality.

"You have to question a cinematic culture which preaches artistic expression," said the Barbie actor, adding, "And yet would support a decision that is clearly a product of a patriarchy-dominant society, which tries to control how women are depicted on-screen."

He did not stop here as the La La Land star expressed, “The MPAA is okay supporting scenes that portray women in scenarios of sexual torture and violence for entertainment purposes, but they are trying to force us to look away from a scene that shows a woman in a sexual scenario, which is both complicit and complex."

According to the Fall Guy actor, it's misogynistic in nature to try and control a woman's sexual presentation of self and he considers this an issue that is bigger than this film.

Andy Samberg

It's fair to say that the Brooklyn 99 star is the first Jewish feminist male comedian!

In an interview with Glamour, our favourite Jake Peralta said that the only reason people think that is because "f--king idiot-ass men keep saying that women aren’t funny."

"It makes me crazy, Samberg noted, adding, "I find it disgusting and offensive every time."

Tom Hardy
