Sinéad O'Connor's cause of death has been officially confirmed as natural causes, according to a statement from the coroner.
Irish singer renowned for her powerful vocals, was found "unresponsive" in a flat in Herne Hill, southeast London, in July 2023.
The police investigation into her sudden death did not indicate any suspicious circumstances.
A spokesperson from Southwark Coroners Court affirmed, "This is to confirm that Ms. O'Connor died of natural causes. The coroner has therefore ceased their involvement in her death."
Sinéad O'Connor gained widespread fame with her debut album, The Lion and the Cobra, in 1987.
However, it was her rendition of Prince's song Nothing Compares 2 U in 1990 that catapulted her to international stardom, earning her Grammy nominations and millions of record sales worldwide.

The singer's career, marked by artistic achievements and occasional controversies, included ten albums, with her most recent release being I'm Not Bossy, I'm the Boss in 2014.
O'Connor's impact extended beyond her music, as she famously protested against the Catholic Church on Saturday Night Live in 1992, tearing a photo of Pope John Paul II.
Tragically, O'Connor faced personal struggles, including battles with mental health issues.
Her 17-year-old son, Shane, died by suicide in the previous year, adding to the singer's challenges.
In her final days, O'Connor expressed enthusiasm for her return to London, where she planned to finish an upcoming album and embark on a tour.
