Kieran Culkin received the honour for the Favorite Dramatic Actor for Succession at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, held on January 14, 2024.

As reported by PEOPLE, Culkin forgot his planned words and ended up talking about his wife, Jazz Charton, and co-star Sarah Snook plucking his ear hair just before he went up on stage.

The Father  of the Bride actor began his acceptance speech with, "I'm a little bit thrown, actually, I have this hair that grows on the side of my ear, not like an ear hair."

Culkin also shared how his wife and Snook occasionally “surprise” him with the quirky grooming routine.

During the award show the Fargo star discovered another unusually long hair on the opposite side of his head.

Talking about when Snook pulled out a hair from his left ear, Culkin realized it wasn't the one he was expecting and that's when his wife found another hair that was still attached and growing.

The 41-year-old actor said, "They both started taking turns plucking my hair, and it was really painful, and now, I'm here talking about it instead of saying what I had prepared to say, which is gone now. And I'm probably out of time."

This revelation led to Culkin giving a shout-out to the Succession camera crew in the rest of his speech.

He said, "I feel like they're always underappreciated it's the camera department, In particular, the cameras operators, I mean, they film the thing. I feel like on our show, they were kind of like lifesavers."
