Sarah Snook secured Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for 'Succession'

Sarah Snook garnered the honor for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Succession at the 2023 Emmy Awards, held on Monday.
As reported by PEOPLE magazine, Snook lovingly mentioned her baby daughter, whom the actress’ welcomed last year with her husband Dave Lawson in her speech.
Stating that her daughter is her "biggest thank you," The Dressmaker actress began her acceptance speech with, "this shoutout is to someone who won't understand anything that I'm saying at the moment, but I carried her with me in this last season. And really, it was her who carried me."
Snook went on to say, "It's very easy to act when you're pregnant because you’ve got hormones raging. It was more that the proximity of her life growing inside me gave me the strength to do this and this performance."

"And I love you so much, and it's all for you from here on out. Thank you," the Winchester star added.
Referring to the Succession finale, the 36-year-old actress shared her thoughts about saying farewell after four seasons, stating, "It’s hard to express what this show has meant to me. The places I got to go, the immense talent I got to work with."
"It breaks my heart that it is all over. But my heart had to be this full of all the memories, good times, challenges and triumphs, to be able to break at all so that makes me grateful," she added.
