Kate Hudson 'still' getting paid for her role in 'Home Alone 2'
Kate Hudson shared that she is still getting cheques for her work in 'Home Alone 2'
Kate Hudson revealed that she is still earning money from one of her first acting jobs as a kid in Home Alone 2.
In an episode of her podcast Sibling Revelry on Monday, which Kate co-hosts with her brother Oliver Hudson, the Almost Famous actress shared stories with guest Joey Lawrence about starting their acting careers as kids.
When Kate asked Joey if he still gets payments for old ads, she disclosed that she's still receiving small cheques for a childhood job.
The 44-year-old actress told, "I still get residuals from Home Alone 2 because I sang in the chorus."
She also said of the 1992 holiday classic starring Macaulay Culkin,"I'm in that chorus, and then I get 10 cents every once in a while."
Joey then humorously mentioned his tiny payments, saying, "Sometimes I'll get, like, 2 cents and I'm like, 'Wait. Doesn't the envelope and paper cost more?' "
On which the Fool's Gold actress responded, "At least they're being fair and honest."

Additionally, the Lawrence brothers didn't know about Kate's appearance in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
They said they'd have to watch the film again to spot her, while Kate's 47-year-old brother Oliver was aware of her role, but they admitted they usually don't watch each other's work.
During a joint appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in January 2022, host Stephen Colbert asked Kate if she watched her brother's show The Cleaning Lady, which was airing then.
On which Oliver quickly responded that she wasn't watching it, but Kate mentioned she did see one episode.
She told, "I watched the first one, I haven't seen the second episode yet. I've watched an episode so far. I watched the first. It's very good."
