'Horizon: An American Saga' is set to release in two chapters, the first will premiere on June 28 and 2nd on August 6


Kevin Costner has ignited the fans' excitement as he released the first trailer of his upcoming movie Horizon: An American Saga, on Monday.

The much-awaited movie starring the Yellowstone star, who also directed and co-wrote the film is a two-part film.

In the three-minute trailer, the audience got a whirlwind preview as the trailer kicked off with Costner taking centre stage, he entered the breathtaking landscape of Utah.

The trailer also unveiled the film’s narrative of the consequences, both victorious and tragic, stemming from the concept of Manifest Destiny.

Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Jena Malone, Abbey Lee, Michael Rooker, Danny Huston, Luke Wilson, Isabelle Fuhrman, Jeff Fahey, Will Patton, Tantanka Means, Owen Crow Shoe, Ella Hunt and Jamie Campbell Bower also teases their acting prowess in the captivating first.

A major portion of the trailer hinted at the plot of the film instead of revealing the complete plot, as it shared the Native American communities to be showcased in the movie.

It also portrayed the potential development of a romantic subplot involving Costner and Lee's character.

However, the synopsis of the film "explores the lure of the Old West and how it was won — and lost — through the blood, sweat and tears of many."

Soon after the spine-tingling trailer dropped, the fans flooded the comment section to express their anticipation.

One wrote, “A good old fashioned western epic. Looking forward to seeing this.”

Another noted, “Kevin Costner is to Westerns what Martin Scorsese is to Mafia films. You can't get much better.”

“Finally, a movie worthy of being called a movie! Thank you, Kevin Costner. I can't wait to see this,” the third remarked.
